These applications were launched with the aim of replacing iTunes for Windows users, the once popular application that is no longer maintained on macOS, although it has received support on Windows until the end of 2023.
While Android users hold alternatives like YouTube Music in high regard, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Spotify, etc., Apple Music reigns supreme among iPhone users. However, those who use devices from both worlds can now fully enjoy seamless interaction between platforms thanks to Apple Music and Apple TV.
Apple devices, on the other hand, can be used to backup iPhone data to a Windows device. This way, users no longer need to use iCloud for backups. For now, the only drawback to this method is that Apple Devices does not support connecting wirelessly to devices for backup.
