Apple may release new dual charger

Apple seems to have unveiled a new charger with higher power. It was in a now removed support document on Apple’s own website that it was written about a 35W charging adapter with two USB-C ports. The charger is described as a device with two USB C ports and a power of 35W. In that case, it will be Apple’s first charger with dual USB C ports. The charger must also use GaN (Gallium nitride), which in practice means that it is possible to make the charger physically smaller. Apple already has a GaN charger in its range, but it is the 140W charger that comes with the MacBook Pro 16 inch.

When, or even if, the charger will be launched is not clear because it is uncertain whether it is a factual error in the support document or that someone has not yet published official information.
