IOS 14.5 beta, available to developers and public beta testers, adds a new version Apple maps It allows you to report accidents, hazards, and speed controls along your route by obtaining directions.

You can also say “Hello Siri, there is an accident” and Siri will send a report to Apple Maps and presumably, if there are enough reports, the location of an accident will appear on Maps via crowdsourcing. This is available in the United States in trial form at this time, and it is not yet clear if it will appear in other countries as well.

Please note that Siri will notify you about the new Incident Report feature the first time you search for instructions after updating to iOS 14.5, but the feature is not mentioned after that. There is no similar incident reporting functionality available in iOS 14.4, nor does it appear to be being shown to all iOS 14.5 users at this time according to reports.
