Mac Studio M1 Max will handle playback of up to nine video streams in 8K ProRes, support for up to five monitors and encoding in H.264, HEVC and ProRes. Mac Studio M1 Ultra will handle playback of up to 18 video streams in 8K ProRes.
Mac Studio launches March 18. The cheapest version with M1 Max starts at SEK 25,495: 10-core processor with 24-core GPU and 16-core neural engine, 32GB memory, 512 GB SSD disk, 2xUSB-C and 1xSD card reader.
The more expensive version with M1 Ultra starts at SEK 50,495: 20-core processor with 48-core GPU and 32-core neural engine, 64GB memory, 1 TB SSD disk, 2xThunderbolt 4 and 1xSD card reader.
At the same time, Apple released also Studio Display. The screen is 27 inches and has a resolution of 5K. The screen has a built-in ultra-wide angle camera of 12 megapixels and Dolby Atmos sound. The brightness is 600 cd / square meter and the color range is equivalent to P3.
The price for Studio Display is SEK 19,995. The screen is available from March 18.
