Apple is reportedly working on a new generation of Mac Pro machines designed for professionals. The current generation from 2019 still uses Xeons from Intel in combination with the Radeons of the Vega generation, the next generation should already bet on ARMs from their own workshops.
According to Apple unconfirmed information (Apple never confirms or refutes the parameters of unreleased products) next year it will be possible to choose from three processor configurations: from 32-core, through 48-core to 64-core, of course in a certain configuration of “small” and “large” CPU cores (the highest version will use 16 + 48 ). We can certainly expect adequately higher performance than the 8-core Apple M1, the CPU core will also be accompanied by 128 GPU cores, up to 512 GB RAM, up to 8TB SSD and other corresponding equipment. The price of the highest model should be 18,999 USD.
