Apple will launch its newest device iPhone 15 next Tuesday (12/9). Not only alone, this smart phone is likely to be accompanied by a number of Apple devices.
Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 series on September 12, precisely at 10.00 PT (24.00 WIB). One member that will definitely be present with the iPhone 15 is the Apple Watch Series 9.
Apart from these two devices, Apple is also likely to present Airpods, a new Macbook, or the Virtual Reality (VR) Visioon Pro device which caught the public’s attention at WWDC last June.
The following is a list of devices that Apple will release at the launch on September 12:
iPhone 15
The iPhone 15 is reportedly coming with a series of updates. One of the most striking is the adoption of a USB-C port which replaces the Lightning port previously used by the iPhone.
This step is the impact of regulations issued by the European Union. Last year, the European Parliament voted to standardize ports across devices.
Technically, the regulator has given manufacturers until the end of 2024 to implement the technology across all devices.
Then, the iPhone 15 is also rumored to come with wireless charging increased to 35W. This would make the iPhone one of the first phones to adopt the Qi2 standard, which combines wireless charging with magnets.
Then, the Dynamic Island feature, which was previously only available on the Pro variant, will likely be available on the standard model.
Apple Watch Series 9
Quoted from Tech Crunch, Friday (8/9), there are actually not that many rumors about the Apple Watch Series. However, this could be an indication that it’s been a relatively quiet year for wearable devices.
Even so, the new Apple Watch will likely launch next week along with the iPhone 12, both the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9.
Airpods
2023 feels like the right time for Apple to launch new AirPods. Although the new AirPods probably won’t use the H2 chip, Airpods equipped with a USB-C port might be launched.
In addition to the standard AirPods models, new AirPods Max and HomePod may also launch, considering the previous versions have been around for quite some time since their launch.
