Apple has launched a set of updates directed to its various devices in order to fix a problem in displaying texts in them.
According to the notes attached to the updates, they include a specific fix for user-entered text that may duplicate or overlap unexpectedly while typing.
Many complaints have arisen regarding this problem recently, as it causes texts to be replaced randomly while writing, which negatively affects the work of mail applications, messages, and web pages.
Apple has made updates available to users iOS 17.3.1 and iPadOS 17.3.1 for iPhones and iPads, in addition to the macOS 14.3.1 update for Mac computers.
Apple had launched major sub-updates at the end of last month, which included adding important features such as protecting stolen devices on the iPhone, and collaborative playlists in Apple Music, in addition to fixing many security vulnerabilities.
New updates can be downloaded to Apple devices by going to “Settings,” then clicking on “General,” then choosing “Software Update,” then choosing “Download and Install.”
It is worth noting that Apple is currently working on updating iOS 17.4, which the company will launch early next month, and it carries many important changes, most notably the radical changes related to the Digital Markets Law (DMA) in European Union countries, such as downloading applications from outside the App Store and allowing alternative application stores.
