An important new security feature has arrived for your device iPhone For testing with the beta version of iOS 17.3, which gives you protection if your device is stolen, according to 9to5mac.

With the first beta of iOS 17.3, Apple launched the ability to test protection for stolen iPhones, and the feature comes after the Wall Street Journal’s Joanna Stern of iPhones investigated a rise in thefts in public places.

Stolen iPhone Protection solves the problem by requiring biometric authentication when you’re away from trusted places like home and work.

How to turn on iPhone protection

Stolen:

1- Make sure you are running the trial version of iOS 17.3 On your iPhone (Demo Installation Guide).

2- Open the Settings application.

3- Swipe down and tap Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode.

4- Now under Stolen Device Protection, click on Turn on protection.
