Apple launched its new headphones on Tuesday, naming them the AirPods Max. The device works wirelessly and promises to filter background noise. But as we are used to from the American electronics company, it may also cost something.

Customers have to pay no less than 629 euros for the over-ear-headphones, the first headphones designed by Apple in addition to the earpieces that already existed from the brand. In return, users do get “a floating headband that distributes weight evenly across the head, so there’s less pressure.” It also promises to play music as if you were in the cinema and filter background noise through the noise canceling function. Yet another feature is that the device has wear detection, which automatically pauses or resumes music when the user puts the headphones off or on the head.
By the way, fans don’t have to miss the headphones once they have bought them. The battery lasts for twenty hours and only needs to be charged for five minutes to be able to play music for another hour and a half.
The AirPods Max will be available from 15 December. It comes in five colors: gray, silver, green, blue and pink.
