We know what news Tuesday’s Apple keynote will bring
Apple Watch can look forward to a new chip and sensors, while AirPods Pro will get a new box
Apple will probably keep the premiere of new computers for next year
In just two days, Apple’s press conference will take place, where the new generation of iPhones and probably the new Apple Watch will see the light of day. We know pretty much everything about the upcoming phones, but there are still question marks over other products that could be unveiled at Tuesday’s keynote or later this year. Some of those questions were cleared this week by respected whistleblowers.
Small improvements to the Apple Watch
On Tuesday, Apple will reportedly introduce new generations of the Apple Watch, both basic and Ultra. So far, only a minor upgrade in the form of a new Apple U2 chip has been talked about, but Mark Gurman from the Bloomberg server expanded the list of news even further. According to him, we can look forward to new sensors (primarily an optical heart rate sensor), which should be faster, more efficient and more accurate. The new Apple U2 chip is supposed to provide the watch with higher performance and greater efficiency, as well as more accurate location and tracking of people and devices in the Find My application.
The new watch is also supposed to be more environmentally friendly – Apple Watch Ultra is to use more recycled materials, Apple Watch Series 9 is said to use a special 3D printed stainless steel case in Cupertino. The Ultra version should also see this, but only sometime next year.
A case for AirPods with a USB-C port?
The big news of this year’s iPhones will be the replacement of the Lightning port for a more universal USB-C. Apple will have to remove the original port from other devices, including the charging cases of AirPods. Gurman claims that the USB-C case for AirPods Pro will be introduced as early as Tuesday, and that it will go on sale this fall. The basic AirPods are then expected to receive an upgraded case sometime next year together with the AirPods Max headphones.

He made the first iPhone with USB-C, now he adapted the AirPods case accordingly
Interestingly, Apple is not yet planning any other hardware changes to the headphones, but users of existing models can still look forward to several new features related to the iOS platform update, such as adaptive audio and personalized volume.
New computers until next year
In some years, Apple held two press events in the fall – in September it was devoted to phones and watches, in October to tablets and computers. This year, however, that probably won’t be the case, the new iPads are said to arrive next year, and according to recent rumors from whistleblower Ming-Chi Kuo, the same fate awaits MacBooks as well.
It seems that Apple will not release new MacBook models (equipped with M3 series processors) before the end of this year.

Although it has been speculated that the new Apple M3 chipset could be introduced this fall along with the upgraded MacBook Air, MacBook Pro (both with 13″ display) and 24″ iMac computers, Kuo says that their premiere this year is rather unlikely.
We can probably count on new Apple computers in the first half of next year, when new iPads could also see the light of day.
