As well as a new “Mac Studio”, described as a model between the Mac mini and the Mac ProApple is working on an “Apple Studio Display” with 7K resolution, according to Filipe Esposito by 9to5Mac which cites information from “sources familiar with the matter”.
Details on the rumored new display are slim, however, with a 7K resolution, the rumored new display is said to have a higher resolution than Apple’s current Pro Display XDR, blurring the lines as to whether the new arrival will replace the High-end professional. Display XDR or a new addition to join Apple’s line of standalone displays.
According to 9to5Mac, the screen is known internally under the codename J327. There are rumors that the same codename is linked to a screen under development with an integrated A13 processor.

Bloomberg reported last year how Apple was supposedly working on an external display described as a cheaper alternative to the high-end Pro Display XDRwhich Apple costs $4,999.
