It’s only been a few days since we reported in our magazine that Apple is speeding up the development of its first home robotic product with the aim of hitting store shelves in 2026. Specifically, it would be a special robotic arm with an iPad-style screen at the end that would rotate behind you in order to make it easier for you to control your smart home or media, using FaceTime calls, etc. And now, according to Taiwan’s United Daily News , it seems Apple is really taking this news seriously. According to new information, Apple has agreed on the development of a number of components and their further production with the Chinese company Hongzhun, which depends on its long-time production partner Foxconn. Given the close relationship between Apple and Foxconn, this new connection is absolutely not surprising. The deal is supposed to be more or less concluded, according to a recent statement by Hingzhun’s management at the annual shareholders’ meeting, where it revealed significant planned investments in new technologies, led by robotics and AI. It is precisely these two things that Apple is interested in “building” your robot, because it is supposed to be a device that relies heavily on artificial intelligence and Siri.

Any additional information remains shrouded in mystery, as this is still a relatively distant product. What is quite interesting, however, is that according to the sources of leaks and renowned journalists, including Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, this should not be a device with a meaningless price tag, quite the opposite. The state should have about $ 1,000, or about 30,000 CZK. For example, the iPhone 15 Pro in the basic configuration is sold for $ 999, which in our country costs a little less than 30,000 CZK, that is, at least in the case of Apple Online Store.
