Jakarta, Selular.ID – Apple is working on two new models of earbuds, reportedly the third generation AirPods and the second version of the AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro will reportedly have a different design.
The two will join Apple’s new audio devices, such as the HomePod mini and the upcoming over-ear headphones.
As quoted by Bloomberg, the presence of these earbuds is said to be Apple’s effort to capitalize on product success which has become an important source of growth for the company.
Both earbuds are sure to have improvements over their predecessors. For regular AirPods, it will be similar to the current AirPods Pro. However, Apple will increase the battery life. As for the new generation of AirPods Pro, Apple aims to make the earbuds more compact by eliminating the short rods in their design.
The design under test has a rounder shape, and fills the user’s ear space.

Previously, Apple was also preparing to launch AirPod Pro Lite, which is scheduled to launch in Q2 2020. However, the latest information reveals that the entry-level device will be postponed. Production of the new AirPods will experience delays. Unfortunately, the delay report does not contain the reason for the delay of AirPods Pro Lite.
This is not a surprise, because Apple is experiencing a decline in revenue due to the Corona outbreak in China, and so far there has been no information regarding the details of the launch time.
