The question is whether the American tech giant Apple has a hit or a flop with its own AR headset. This is what you need to know about it.
Not all of Apple’s new products turn to gold. yes, the iPhone and the Macs are doing just fine. The iPads and the AirPods too. But an example of a recent flop is the wireless charging mat. AirPower failed to materialize and turned out to be a flop. Now is Apple working on a brand new product again and it’s an AR headset. Again a new type of product.
The danger with something new is that it either flops or becomes a hit. Apple will of course aim for the latter, otherwise they won’t start. The news that Apple will come with its own AR (augmented reality) headset comes from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He states that the American tech company will appear with such a product in the fall of 2022.
According to the rumors, the AR headset will have a powerful processor, comparable to Apple’s own M1 processor. And then there’s a less powerful processor that gets going with the sensors. The headset could function independently, without a mandatory connection with, for example, a Mac or iPhone. (through Macrumors)
