Technology giant Apple is going to make a big change in the iPhone 14 model. Apple, the manufacturer of the iPhone, which is the best-selling phone model in the smartphone market, is preparing to meet the user with a design that has never been used before. The software developer named DylanDKT shared on his social media account that Apple will switch to the “Hole punch” camera design on the iPhone 14 model and will get rid of the notch.
According to the information provided by the software developer and Apple analyst DylanDKT on Twitter, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will not have a screen notch. Phones will instead use a screen hole for the selfie camera.
The TrueDepth camera system, which Apple first used with the iPhone X, is located in the notch on the front of the existing phones. This system includes hardware such as infrared camera, spot projector, light projector and ambient light sensor.
According to the information obtained, the iPhone 14 Pro model may be available with a pill-shaped front camera with a hole-punch design. The hardware components required for Face ID seem to be located under the screen. With the change of the front camera design, the notch design that has been used since 2017 can be said goodbye.
DylanDKT also claims that Apple will launch an updated iPhone SE model in 2022 that will keep the same spacious design as the current 2020 SE model but will add 5G and enhanced features. Meanwhile, a foldable iPhone is said to be still in the prototype stage.
