After two years without being talked about, Apple’s iPod Touch could come back in a new version.
According to the leaky Steve Moser, Source: @ AppleLe257, a new iPod Touch could arrive this year, explaining why the device’s name was mentioned last November in a press release about the Apple Music service.

What’s more, knowing that the original iPod was released in October 2001, this new device would celebrate the 20 years of the range, a dream opportunity to mark the occasion. As a reminder, the last iPod Touch ‑7th generation‑ released relatively quietly in May 2019, four years after the previous version. It’s not really Apple’s most popular line anymore, overshadowed by the iPhone, but with the right price tag, the device could find an audience. Apple could for example take the opportunity to include Lossless compatibility recently introduced on Apple Music.
