Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apple updated the iPhone user experience of operating the phone app in iOS 17. The company is bringing in useful new features such as Live Voicemail, FaceTime voicemail, and Contact Posters.
Apple also changed the appearance of the telephone interface a bit, one of which was by changing the layout of the button to end a call.
If previously the red button was placed on the bottom side and separated from other phone options, now it has been moved to the right side of the screen. Access is also unified with other phone feature options.
Collect Macworldthe reason for moving the button is to make room for the new Contacts option that is present in iOS 17. Also, to streamline the user experience to make it more customizable.
However, it seems that some of the technology media who have tried the iOS 17 Beta 1 Developer version are not happy with these changes.
CNBC International wrote, “users have a strong memory of where the call end button is located. This change can be confusing to them”.
Meanwhile Gizmodo say, “if the functionality stays the same, why change the design?”.
