On Tuesday night, Apple unveiled a new iPhone: iPhone SE (2022). We take a look at Apple’s new affordable mobile.
With a starting price of SEK 5,695 for the model with 64 GB of storage, the new iPhone SE (2022) has received attention as a budget alternative to more expensive models. Here is everything you need to know about the new mobile.
Design
The phone comes in the colors Midnight (black), Star Shine (white) and Product Red (red) and has the same look as its predecessor. In terms of size, the Iphone SE (2022) is only marginally larger than the Iphone 13 Mini.
Both the front and back are equipped with the same durable glass as in the iPhone 13. The phone is also waterproof with IP67 rating.
Camera
The phone has a front camera and a 12 MP camera on the back. Some of the camera features are a portrait mode and filter.
Battery life
Battery life is not yet known, but Apple states that iPhone SE (2022) will provide “better battery life” – however, it is uncertain whether this is compared to the iPhone 8 or last year’s model.
Performance and software
The software is iOS 15 – the same as the iPhone 13 has. The phone also uses the same chipset as in the iPhone 13 series, which means that the phone will probably have similar speeds and battery optimization.
The mobile also supports 5G.
iPhone SE 3 goes on sale on March 18 and can be pre-ordered from March 11.
