Apple: iOS 15 may improve notifications and monitor nutritional habits

There are about two weeks to go before this year’s edition of WWDC. The Apple event for programmers kicks off on June 7 and will have iOS 15 as its big star.

As the event approaches, there are already some rumors of the news that iOS 15 may bring. The most recent speculation comes from user Connor Jewiss, whose predictions are right with some previous rumors.

When I said I’d seen some iOS 15, I’m not going to disappoint:◼️- Dark Mode UI tweaks????- Messages app tweaks????- Food tracking and other new features in Health????- Confirmation of UI changes from previous screenshot rumor????- New notification settings and look on lockscreen

To give more credibility to what this source advances, Apple analyst Mark Gurmam seems to have corroborated what Jewiss revealed, advising him not to forget the “improved notification banners”.

iOS 15 will mess with the iPhone notification system

This is one of the main novelties pointed out by the source. Despite the scarcity of additional details, she says that the new operating system will bring some news to the system of notifications and changes in the appearance of the iPhone’s lock screen.

Two points that were previously raised by Bloomberg, when they provided a report that aimed at some of the news to be implemented with the launch of iOS 15. It was mentioned that the way notifications will be shown may vary depending on the time of day or user activities.

It should also be noted that iOS 15 may implement improvements in Dark Mode for the supported equipment. In addition, the Messaging application will receive special attention this year from Apple engineers.

Nutritional monitoring may be another major feature of iOS 15

Another important point raised by Connor Jewiss has to do with the possibility of implementing a functionality to monitor food habits. New to be implemented under the scope of the Health application.

This is not an unreasonable theory, considering that Apple has already conducted a consultation with its users in this regard. More specifically with those who use the Apple Watch.

As in the points mentioned above, they lack more details that elucidate us for the real usefulness of this functionality. If this is true, these points will be duly exposed at the time of their disclosure.
