Apple released the beta version of its operating system iOS 17.2, which revealed the presence of a new command that the user can benefit from through the Actions button that first came with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

The company then shared 8 tasks that the button can perform, and now a new additional command appears that will come with the system version iOS 17.2.
MacRumors spotted the new option after receiving the latest beta version of iOS 17.2, where iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users will be able to select the translation option, among the options available for the Actions button. Apple promised that the translation option would come to the Action button, but said that it will not be available when launched. New iPhones in September.
The new option appears when the action button is set as a translation. Pressing and holding causes a translation window to appear on the iPhone, to start listening to the spoken text and then translating it. It is able to translate from one specific language to another, using the preset languages in the translation application.
You can change the languages between which it translates by selecting different languages in the translation application, as the application supports Chinese, English, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
To choose a translation option for the action button, open the Settings app, scroll down to the action button, then swipe until you reach the translation function.
Thus, the action button will present 9 tasks that can be navigated between on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, after updating to iOS 17.2, which are:
