One of the best things about Apple’s new MagSafe is that it can not only charge iPhones 12 to 15W wirelessly, but also that the phone holds well when charging. For example, such players will certainly appreciate it, the cable sticking out from one side is not ideal. The magnets used in the twelfth row are strong enough to hold even the giant iPhone 12 For Max firmly and securely on the stand. The new version of the technology has not shown much in stores yet, but now a change is coming.
If you go to see the Apple Store or the so-called Premium Reseller (ie a store that is certified by Apple in terms of the quality of services offered), iPhones are built on a stand with Lightning. For the iPhone 12 series, this has turned into larger docks with labels in official stores, but it is still necessary to plug the power connector into the phones.
As we can see in the photos, just one single cable instead of four and the whole set looks kind of timeless and simple. You will come, lift, put down. Done. This new design was first seen in the Apple Store, which is part of the giant Apple Park. Instead of all the information about the models, only the name and color variants can be read. Furthermore, the customer is guided to the application directly in the phone, where you can compare the device and view financing options. The new holders have another advantage – the safety cable slides into the table, which means less clutter and loose wires.
As for other stores, the distribution of new holders has not yet started here. However, we can expect its early deployment and use, especially in the presentation of the upcoming iPhone 13. As Apple became quite attached to MagSafe, the Xr and 11 models can be expected to disappear from store shelves. Who will replace them? It will probably be lower models of the twelve series with reduced prices. There is also talk of adding this magnetic functionality to another iPhone SE, it should arrive in the first half of 2022.
It would probably be a pious wish of many fans of the brand that they too could have such a stand at home or at work. So far, however, it only looks to be used to present new models in stores. Who knows, Lightning docks also went on sale and everyone could buy them. For now, however, we will have to rely on third-party manufacturers and hope that they will bring us something similar, even better.
