According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has asked Apple to shelve the next iPhone SE, which was set to be released in 2024. Until now, iPhone SE models had designs and screens from 2014, but offered modern chips. They are Apple’s least expensive iPhones.
The latest model was launched for almost a year ago. Basing the report on sources in Apple’s supply chain, Kuo believes the reason for the cancellation of the upcoming iPhone SE is low sales. Reports surrounding the launch of the latest iPhone SE last year claimed that Apple cut production just weeks after release, due to low demand.
