Apple gets approval for releasing mysterious MacBook

It seems that Apple will soon release a new version of the MacBook brings out. Many details are not yet known. However, the American company has received the necessary approval from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) executive body.

Apple has submitted a request for a “portable personal computer” and the commission has given the necessary approval. Probably the upcoming laptop has the new scissor-switch keyboard that we also encounter on the new 16-inch MacBook Pro. Every other laptop that Apple currently sells has the less reliable butterfly keys.

New MacBook coming

The model number of the “portable personal computer” is A2289. That is currently the only concrete detail that we can see from the approval. However, in the past, the EEC has confirmed the existence of new Apple products, usually just before they are officially unveiled by the Cupertino company. So it is possible that Apple will soon unveil the new MacBook.

For example, the 10.5 iPad was unveiled just before its official announcement during WWDC 2017 and we saw the 9.7 iPad pass before it was presented in March 2018.

Furthermore, the well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously indicated that the scissor-switch keyboard would come to other Apple laptops in 2020. The man did that already in July of 2019, even before the new MacBook with 16 scherm screen officially presented. So all signs indicate that Apple has plans for a new MacBook.

There is a good chance that we will see the first signs of life of the successor to the MacBook Pro with a 13-inch screen. The last update for that hardware was released in May 2019, so it could be that it is due for renewal. It could also be a new Air model or an entry level model for the Pro line, but these were refreshed in July of 2019.
