One year after the English-speaking countries, France’s turn to discover Apple Fitness +. Next Wednesday, November 3, the Californian brand will launch its subscription sports service in 15 new countries. Subtitles in French will allow you to understand what Apple’s sports teachers are saying, the brand not having chosen to opt for dubbing. Owning an Apple Watch is mandatory to be able to subscribe to Fitness +, even if you can then start classes on iPhone or iPad without your watch.

9.99 or 28.95 euros per month
If you have an Apple Watch, you will be entitled to a 1 or 3 month free trial of Apple Fitness + (it all depends on your date of purchase, Apple will automatically tell you what you are entitled to). Then, the service will be individually billed at the rate of 9.99 euros per month or 79.99 euros per year (the equivalent of four months free).
Another possibility is that Apple will launch its Apple One Premier bundle in France on November 3 which, depending on your dependence on the Apple ecosystem, could be a great deal. For 28.95 euros per month, it will give you access to Apple Music Family, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness + and 2TB of iCloud storage. All these services can be shared by six people within the framework of a family sharing. Individually, all of these services should cost 44.95 euros per month. (The English version of this service also offers Apple News + but this service does not exist in France).
If you are not familiar with the concept of Fitness +, this is an app available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV (but not on Mac or on a website). Hundreds of sports lessons are offered there. Thanks to Apple Watch, Apple displays your heart rate and activity in real time at the top of the screen to give you advice (three different levels are available for each class). It’s up to you to choose between your own playlists or the songs chosen by the coaches, Apple Music is integrated into the service.
