Apple fires new manager in its first week

It turns out that Garcia Martinez is known for his sexist and misogynistic behavior. In his book Chaos Monkeys, In which he talks about his experience working in Silicon Valley, there are several comments in which he describes the work of women in tech companies very derogatory.

Sexist statements

For example, in one of the chapters of the book, the director says that women are “soft and weak,” while in another chapter, he says that women “cannot make eye contact with a man when they go downstairs.”

Most Bay Area women are soft and weak, spoiled and naive despite trying to be mundane, and generally gossip. They have their own claim to feminism and ceaselessly boast of their independence, but the reality is that, after the epidemic plague or a foreign invasion, they would become just the kind of useless baggage you’d trade for a box of bullets or a can of diesel.

Garcia Martinez worked at Facebook from 2011 to 2013 and also had several projects of her own. While Apple had already hired the man, the company chose to follow his principles and fire the executive. Incidentally, it remains strange that Apple did not conduct a background check before it was hired.
