INDOZONE.ID – United States technology company Apple claimed to have made fantastic profits since eliminating charger and earphones on iPhone 12. Apple’s policy had drawn public protests, especially iPhone lovers.
Apple explained that the policy of eliminating chargers and earpods was aimed at saving the earth from waste. In addition, this policy also makes the iPhone box smaller so that logistics costs are cheaper.
However, not everyone believes Apple’s answer. Many consider that the policy is only to increase the company’s profit coffers.

The Daily Mail reported that Apple saved up to 6.5 billion US dollars, or around Rp. 93.2 trillion, from the policy of eliminating chargers and earpods.
According to experts, by selling iPhones without chargers and earpods, Apple can save around £27 for one iPhone. The prices for these two accessories are the cheapest at around 19 pounds.
Since the policy was announced, Apple has sold around 190 million iPhone units worldwide.
This Rp93.2 trillion savings affected Apple’s profits and made the stock price soar.
