Apple users who own an iPhone or iPad can now connect the DualSense Edge to the device via Bluetooth. Apple is slowly adding support for a variety of controllers to its devices. Since 2021, with iOS 14.5, control Traditional DualSense and Xbox Series X|S Wireless Controller Now Support for Apple Devices.
Sync your DualSense Edge with Apple device
Owners of a DualSense Edge pro controller can now take advantage of the peripheral on Apple devices to play. To sync the devices, just follow these steps:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device;
- Press and hold the PS button (the PlayStation logo) and the Share button at the same time until the light bar on the controller starts to flash. At this stage, the control enters pairing mode and can be identified by the Apple device.
- Access the Apple device and select Settings under the Bluetooth tab.
- Select the DualSense Edge controller. The Apple device should easily identify the controller by the name “DualSense Edge”.
- If the pairing notification appears but the controller isn’t working, press the PS button again to turn the controller on.
We remind you that the process of connecting the DualSense Edge, DualSense or the Xbox controller is basically the same, according to the Apple support page. Starting this week, users of Apple devices can now take advantage of the new DualSense controller, with several features and a lot of customization to enjoy a good game on the iPad, iPhone or Mac.
