Apple developers warn that AR glasses are not finished yet. However, Tim Cook ordered their premiere this year

Tim Cook can be both the hero and the biggest loser of the year this year. All indications are that Apple is set to introduce its own “Reality Pro” mixed-reality glasses this year, which are expected to be the most complex product yet with a bitten apple logo. However, according to the development team, the glasses have not yet reached the level that would allow their trouble-free use. But for Tim Cook, glasses for augmented reality are the number one priority this year.

The team of engineers wanted to bring the high-end glasses to the market only after the simpler Apple Glass for augmented reality “warmed up” on it. However, they were apparently moved to 2025 or 2026. And Tim Cook did not want to wait any longer for the launch of the glasses, which are supposed to be his first “revolutionary” product under which he will be signed. The developers of the glasses were, and apparently still are, under enormous pressure to make it to the premiere of this year’s glasses.

This is how the simplified form of Apple’s AR glasses was supposed to look. However, Tim Cook will introduce a far more complex product in June instead

According to the development team, Apple should have first presented a cropped model resembling ski goggles, which, although it would have limited possibilities of use, on the other hand, Apple would test the reactions of users with it. And he could then incorporate the feedback into the Reality Pro glasses. However, that probably won’t happen. Apple has been developing its glasses for seven years now, and perhaps that’s why there’s a lot of pressure to launch a product that could finally begin to gradually pay off its development. Reality Pro should cost 3,000 dollars, which equals 80,000 crowns with taxes!

A 4K MicroLED display will be prepared for each eye, the glasses will have a total of 12 cameras, a digital crown, and their performance will be ensured by the 5nm Apple M2 chipset. Glasses from Apple should experience their premiere at the WWDC conference in June.
