Apple could present its mixed reality glasses during WWDC in June

The biggest fans have been waiting for several years for the moment when “Apple” will finally come up with its mixed reality glasses. Due to various issues, the company has postponed the launch of the device several times, but it looks like it is finally ready to bring down the curtain. “Bloomberg” has informed that “Apple’s” mixed reality glasses, more commonly known as “Reality Pro”, could be presented at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June this year.

The company had originally planned to present its mixed reality glasses in April. However, as additional development time was needed to address hardware and software issues, the release has been pushed back to June’s WWDC, which also seems like a better time. The glasses themselves could reach the first buyers in the second half of the summer or later.

Currently, the price of the device is still rumored to reach $3,000, which is a lot of money even for Apple devices. But for that money, the user could get really high-end smart glasses that offer features not found in, say, the Meta Quest Pro VR glasses. For example, 4K displays, a wide range of cameras, the powerful M2 processor and other extras that will take the user experience to a whole new level.

There are also rumors that Apple is also working on a cheaper version of the mixed reality glasses in parallel with the expensive “Reality Pro”, which could cost the same as the “Meta Quest Pro” or around 1500 USD. They will not be shown this year, and there are doubts that Apple will have something sensible to present in this regard in 2024 as well.
