Apple confirms a week of new releases and the Mac will be the protagonist. This is what we know

It’s a fact. There will not be a Apple Event October to present the new generation of Mac with M4 chips, but not a simple and silent update of the catalog. What should we expect?

Apple finally presents the iPhone 16, the first smartphone of the firm fully enabled to execute the new AI functions.

Why will the announcements be made in several days?

Perhaps it is to increase curiosity, online resonance and interactions: the so-called hype;or maybe it’s to try something new and more exciting. Apple will introduce a third way to present new products. This goes beyond the traditional Keynote with which he presented the iPhones and the simple update of online catalogs with press releases, as he did with the recent iPad Mini 7.

A dozen devices will be replaced by new generations of products during the next iPhone 16 presentation event that will occur on September 9.

What new features will Apple present?

Joswiak’s X post suggests that Macs could be the stars, along with the new M4 chip. Although it is not specified which ones, Bloomberg News filter some options:

  • MacBook Pro: with base model M4 and high-performance versions with M4 Pro and M4 Max platform, without particular changes to the design.
  • iMac: with a base version that doubles the RAM memory from 8 GB to 16 GB and M4 entry chip.
  • Mac Mini with M4 Pro: It will offer a more compact design and in some ways similar to the latest versions of Apple TV.
  • Updates from software iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1: They will roll out on Monday, but all Apple Intelligence-based features won’t arrive until next year.

We will have fresh details on Monday. We just have to wait. See you next week!
