Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was hospitalized in Mexico City on Wednesday (8/11/2023), with a suspected stroke according to Mexican media. However, referring to the TMZ report, Wozniak apparently did not suffer a stroke, but rather an attack of vertigo which was said to be not too severe.
The 73-year-old scientist and technology entrepreneur was originally scheduled to participate in the World Business Forum event in Santa Fe, in the Mexican capital on Wednesday (7/11). However, event organizers have not provided further comment. Previously, Wozniak was scheduled to speak at the conference at 16.20 local time.
It was also reported that Wozniak had time to finish his speech. But not long after that, Wozniak told his wife that he ‘felt strange’. As a result of his condition, Wozniak insisted that he be immediately taken to hospital.
It is known that Wozniak founded the then-new Apple Computer with his business partner, Steve Jobs, in 1976. His partner was known as a famous investor and Apple’s long-time CEO, who died in 2011. Their business pioneered personal computing, then developed with its famous products. in the world in the form of laptops, desktop computers, and cell phones.
