The app for your car will be more personal.
There is an update for Apple CarPlay in the pipeline. This is evident from the data from an older version of iOS 14. Users benefit from a new interesting feature for CarPlay.
With Apple CarPlay, it will soon be possible to set a personal wallpaper as a background. It is always possible to define a light or dark background. Later, like on your tablet or phone, you can set a personal photo. For example of your boyfriend, girlfriend, car, watch or this funny vacation photo.
Apple is currently testing this feature. When WWC – this year’s digital – takes place in June, we will no doubt hear more. During this event, Apple will also officially unveil iOS 14.
Traditionally, the public version of a new iOS will be released in the fall. So expect iOS 14, and possibly a new CarPlay, to be available in the fall of this year. (via 9to5Mac)
