Apple is expected to launch its first VR (virtual reality) / AR (augmented reality) headset as early as 2023. However, the launch of the AR (augmented reality) glasses, which has been in development for a long time, is rumored to be delayed until 2025-2026.
According to the foreign press on 7 (local time), Jeff Fu Haitong Securities analyst Jeff Fu Haitong said in the latest report: “Apple is expected to delay the launch to 2025-2026 due to AR glass design issues.”
Analyst Fu predicted in a report five months ago that Apple’s AR glasses could be announced as early as 2024. However, this report predicts the release will be delayed for one to two years.
Apple aims to have the iPhone replaced the AR earbuds within 10 years. CEO Tim Cook said, “AR technology has the potential to be used in various fields such as health, education, gaming and distribution.
