Apple announced at this year’s WWDC 2023 that the new application service “Journal” will be added to iOS 17. It has been added in the iOS 17.2 beta version update earlier.
“Log” can use artificial intelligence computing to record the user’s photos, videos, location, health and other conditions, and present every detail of daily life through notes. This feature is expected to be launched later this year. It will also connect more third-party apps through API to record more users’ personal life events.
At the same time, Apple still emphasizes that all private content will provide full protection, so users do not need to worry about whether their personal privacy will be affected in the iOS operating system.
The “Log” seems to be only available on the iOS platform first, including iPadOS and macOS, which have not yet been launched. However, Apple’s previous statement revealed that “Log” will be provided on the Apple platform, so it will be added in the future, but the specific launch time cannot be confirmed yet.
