Washington, January 8 (QNA) – Apple announced the launch of the Vision Pro mixed reality glasses in the United States of America on February 2.
According to the company: “The glasses provide a 4K screen for each eye, and allow you to switch between augmented reality and virtual reality using a dial located on the side of the glasses. The M2 chip operates the headglasses, which is the same chip used in the company’s computers, along with the new R1 chip.” Designed to process data from sensors, cameras and built-in microphones.
Through the new headset, Apple aims to change the way people use games and video content.
The company explained in a statement: The user of the reality glasses can watch video from Apple TV+ and many other platforms via the virtual reality screen, which is 100 feet wide.
The company indicated that Vision Pro features a new operating system called VisionOS, along with an input system that allows people to use their eyes, hands, and voices to control the headglasses.
