Apple and Tiktok take action against secret party app | NOW

Apple and TikTok removed accounts from an iOS app that was intended for hosting parties during the corona crisis. That reports The Verge.

With Vybe Together it was possible to organize secret parties, where the organizer had to approve each participant. Two hours before the party, the app sent the address.

The app is intended for “small parties”, but “no large gatherings,” the site said earlier. Small parties are also currently banned in many places in the United States.

In addition, Vybe billed itself as an app for rebels. Users first had to submit a registration form and wait for approval before using the app. The site has now largely been taken offline.

Vybe Together only had a few thousand users at the time the app was removed by Apple. It seems the app was mainly used in New York.
