Apple and Samsung imposed their control over the 10 best-selling smartphones during 2023, as the year witnessed strong competition between the two companies, according to data from the research company Counterpoint Research, on sales of global phone models.
Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max topped the best-selling smartphone sales during 2023, while Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra came at the top of Android phones.
The research company’s report indicated a decline in smartphone sales by about 9% on an annual basis during the year 2023, and that no smartphone manufacturer other than Apple and Samsung was able to reach the list of the top 10 best-selling smartphones around the world until the third half of 2023.

Apple phones
Apple topped the list of best-selling smartphones, and 4 of the company’s smartphones came at the top of the list:
1- iPhone 14: The basic model of the iPhone 14 group, which was launched in September 2022, occupied first place on the list.
2- iPhone 14 Pro Max: came in position. Second on the list.
3- iPhone 14 Pro: It came in third place, and provides a balance between performance and functionality, and its elegant design and amazing performance makes it a favorite among Apple fans.

Samsung followed its competitor Apple in the best-selling race with 6 smartphones on the list, as follows:
