Nowhere Apple seems as dominant as in the tablet sector. While its tech competitors have managed to compete with the Cupertino firm in many areas, even ahead of it in niches like the foldable smartphone – the brand’s first model not planned for 2021 -, the iPad has so far still no outsider with a hype close to hers. Reason why each new release of the legendary tablet creates a strong interest among techies. Unfortunately, the‘2020 should not be the year of the overflow of tablets, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Indeed, Apple would release in the second half of 2020 a new iPad, which this time would benefit from a 10.8 inch screen, against 10.2 inches for the iPad launched in 2019. The latter would join the iPad Pro formalized in March, which was entitled for the first time to a Magic Keyboard equipped with a trackpad, in the closed list of Californian giant’s 2020 tablets, the iPad mini 6 not having the right to a scheduled exit for the first half of 2021. Ming-Chi Kuo also claims that this pocket tablet will be equipped this time an 8.5 inch slab, also growing compared to its predecessor of 7.9 inches.
