[Appel à candidatures] Working group “Promoting access to quality care”

In 2023, France Assos Santé carried out collaborative work with all of its member associations to develop its new strategic plan. The latter was launched at the start of 2024 with 3 working groups (GT) focusing on different themes.
The GT “Promote access to quality care” wishes to launch a call for applications until January 12, to recruit other members of associations part of the France Assos Santé Grand Est network and integrate them during the next meeting of the group in Nancy, January 21.

What is a Working Group at France Assos Santé Grand Est?

As part of its missions, the Grand Est de France Assos Santé delegation implements working groups made up mainly of associative members of its network. The objective of these working groups is to:

• Observe and ensure the proper functioning and fairness of the health system, analyze the points causing problems, define common strategies to obtain improvements in the reception and care of people.
• Inform users of the health system about their rights regarding recourse to health establishments and professionals as well as social protection organizations.
• Communicate our findings and our demands as a reference point of contact to represent users of the health system.

Within the “Promoting access to quality care” WG, several work priorities have already been identified:

• List the remedies in community medicine and inform patients
• Identify patient partners using a survey of RUs and promote the link between RU and patient partners
• Create a support document for the network’s member associations so that they can promote access to quality care
• Create a sheet for the UK to ensure that healthcare professionals inform patients that healthcare establishments provide their “Health Space”

A place for information, exchanges and debates, the France Assos Santé Grand Est GT “Promoting access to quality care” is open to all people who are part of a member association.
Wishing to be as representative as possible, participating in this WG will allow you to make the voice of your association heard in the reflection of our work to improve and promote access to quality care for all.
By providing your experience and expertise, you will help the France Assos Santé movement to define action strategies to be ever more influential with public authorities on the theme of this GT.

How does the France Assos Santé GT “Promote access to quality care” work?

The France Assos Santé working group is led by a project manager from the delegation, and is made up of voluntary associative actors from member associations of the France Assos Santé network. This GT, resulting from the France Assos Santé Grand Est strategic plan, is open until 2026.
