➤ Appearance ended early due to emergencies – Trump’s reaction surprised
A campaign event for Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump was interrupted twice and ultimately ended early due to medical emergencies in the audience. The event in the state of Pennsylvania was designed as a kind of town hall, moderated by the Republican governor of South Dakota and Trump supporter Kristi Noem.
After a good half hour and a series of questions from the audience, the first medical emergency occurred in the audience. Trump asked the director to play the song “Ave Maria” over the loudspeaker while paramedics attended to the affected person. A short time later, a second medical emergency occurred on the other side of the stage. Trump and Noem complained about the high heat in the hall and asked security personnel to open the doors.
The event finally ended. Trump and Noem didn’t leave the stage immediately, but stayed there for a while. “Does anyone else want to faint?” Trump asked jokingly. He asked the director to play “Ave Maria” again and then asked for a whole series of other songs that he could dance to. “Let’s make it a music festival,” Trump said. Before he finally left the hall, he chatted with some of his followers.

The news about the US election campaign from October 15, 2024:
Harris gives his first interview to conservative broadcaster Fox News
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will give her first interview to the conservative television channel Fox News less than three weeks before the US election. The conversation with moderator Bret Baier will be broadcast on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. local time (00:00 a.m. CEST), as the broadcaster announced.
It is Harris’ first major television interview with a conservative media outlet since she was officially named the Democratic candidate in August. Since then, the 59-year-old has spoken to CNN, CBS and ABC News, among others, which are considered more liberal channels and tend to be more favorable to Democrats. After she became a candidate, Harris was accused, especially in the early stages, of avoiding interviews and thus avoiding critical questions.
Baier is the chief political anchor at Fox News. His focus is on political analysis, interviews and news. His program “Special Report with Bret Baier” is broadcast daily and, according to the station, is one of the most watched formats. Baier’s role differs from that of the station’s commentators such as Sean Hannity or Laura Ingraham, who very openly promote the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and criticize his opponents.

The news about the US election campaign from October 14, 2024:
Trump asks Harris to take cognitive test
US presidential candidate Donald Trump is asking his opponent Kamala Harris to take a cognitive test, apparently wanting to sow doubts about Harris’ mental fitness a few weeks before the election. “Her behavior has led many to believe that there may be something wrong with her,” Trump claimed on the online platforms X and Truth Social.
In less than a month, on November 5th, the presidential election will take place in the USA. According to polls, a very close race is expected between the 78-year-old Republican and the 59-year-old Democrat.
Trump claimed Harris was “slow and lethargic” when answering even the simplest questions. “We just went through this for almost four years, we shouldn’t have to do it again,” Trump wrote, referring to President Joe Biden’s time in office. In July, at the age of 81, he dropped out of the presidential race after heavy criticism over a failed TV duel, leaving the field to his deputy Harris.

Trump warns of “enemy within”
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump warns of possible chaos caused by “radical left-wing lunatics” surrounding the US election and calls for the American military to be deployed against the “enemy within.” In an interview with the conservative television station Fox News, when asked whether he expected chaos on election day, the 78-year-old said that his supporters would not expect that. When asked about “agitators” from abroad, Trump replied: “I think the bigger problem is the enemy within.”
He lamented: “We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, left-wing lunatics. And I think they are the problem.” The ex-president advocated taking strict action against them, “if necessary through the National Guard, or if really necessary, through the military.”

The first US election since the storming of the Capitol is coming up, an assassination attempt on Donald Trump shocked the world, and fears of further violence are great. But Trump warns of chaos from a completely different place.
Midyatli wants to campaign for Harris in the USA
SPD federal deputy Serpil Midyatli wants to accompany the Democrats’ election campaign with other SPD politicians in the US state of Georgia at the end of October. “We will use the time shortly before the election to support Kamala Harris in her election campaign,” Schleswig-Holstein’s opposition leader told the German Press Agency. They wanted to get involved where help was needed. The trip to Atlanta from October 20th to 25th is organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
“November 5th is about a fateful election for the USA. There is much more on the ballot papers than the names of presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump,” said Midyatli. The question of who will move into the White House is about nothing less than the defense of democracy. “A second term for Donald Trump also entails far-reaching geopolitical and economic risks – with potentially devastating consequences for transatlantic relations.”

Arrest near Trump rally poses a mystery
The arrest of an armed man outside a campaign rally for Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump is puzzling. On Saturday before Trump’s appearance in southern California, the police stopped a man who wanted to drive a car into the area during an access control.
Local Sheriff Chad Bianco later said the man was carrying two unregistered guns and ammunition, as well as various passports and driver’s licenses with different names. The car was also not registered and the license plate was “homemade”.
According to police, there are indications that the man belongs to a group comparable to the “Reichsbürger” in Germany. The 49-year-old was temporarily taken into custody for weapons law violations. He was released on bail shortly afterwards, Bianco said. The investigation was still ongoing.
