Apology Issued for Offending Arab Culture in Korean Series “King the Land”

The makers of the Korean series “King the Land” issued a statement apologizing for the scenes that included any offense to Arabs at work.

The statement came as follows: “The characters, regions, place names, etc. that appear in the drama are fictitious places… and there was no intention to satirize or distort a particular culture…

The production team respects different cultures and will pay more attention to the production so that there will be no inconvenience in watching.”

This came after dealing with scenes at work, which included the appearance of an Arab businessman who has multiple female relationships, is married to 4 women, flirts with women in an inappropriate way, and is depicted as a man.
