Apology for “childhood illness” during T-Mobile TV migration: three months of free video libraries

T-Mobile has completed the transition to a new platform for its television service available via the Internet. In the past six months, 125,000 users were gradually transferred.

For their patience with the replacement of set-top boxes and “occasional children’s diseases of new technology”, they will make the complete Video Library available to them free of charge from October 10, 2020. It contains more than 1000 programs, including titles produced by Viasat, Discovery or BBC Earth.

Viewers will find the video library in the menu of their T-Mobile Television. It does not need to be specially activated, all titles are automatically available for playback until January 15, 2021. The service will also be available to users with T-Mobile SAT TV and T-Mobile Optic TV, who can use it on their mobile device. After this date, the complete offer will only be available to Video Library subscribers. It costs 99 crowns a month.

At the end of the third quarter, a total of 176,000 customers used T-Mobile’s television services, which is 41 percent more than a year ago.
