The chairman of the panel of judges, Sunoto, gave the defendant Bripda Randy the opportunity to respond to the testimony of the mother of her ex-lover.
However, through his team of legal advisers, Bripda Randy asked the panel of judges for permission to apologize to Fauzun. The inactive policeman from Plintahan Village, Pandaan, Pasuruan, immediately approached Fauzun who was sitting in the witness seat.
Bripda Randy knelt down while kissing Fauzun’s hands. He apologized to Novia’s biological mother. Neither Fauzun nor Randy could hold back their tears. After that, Randy sat down next to his legal team again.
The moment of intimacy between Randy and Fauzun was seen again when the trial was suspended for about 10 minutes because one of the judges went to the bathroom. At that time, Bripda Randy sat next to Fauzun to talk after getting permission from the chairman of the panel of judges, Sunoto.
When the trial was continued, a debate between the public prosecutor (JPU) and the legal advisory team of Bripda Randy ensued. The prosecutor asked about the purpose of Randy’s apology to Fauzun. The legal advisory team also objected to the prosecutor’s question to Fauzun.
