Actor and rapper Bilal Wahib has made an arrangement with the boy he challenged in a livestream in March to give in exchange for money. to show his genitals. The 12-year-old boy agreed; the case subsequently sparked a lot of commotion.
Wahib zei in On 1 that he regrets his action. He also apologized on camera. Wahib has not spoken to the boy himself since the incident. He did, however, have a conversation with his parents.
According to Wahib, a financial arrangement has been made with the victim. An amount is unknown. When asked whether it concerns the 17,000 euros that the boy was promised in the livestream, the artist said he could not answer.
Boycott
After the livestream, Wahib, known for, among other things, Mocro Mafia, arrested on suspicion of distributing child pornography. NPO 3 broke off the collaboration with him and many radio stations decided not to play music from the actor and rapper anymore.
In On 1 Wahib said the incident started as a joke for him. He spoke of “having a stupid way of humour”. Only later did he realize that he had made a mistake, he said. Ultimately, no charges were filed against Wahib.
Lawyer Richard Korver, who represents the boy and his family, says it is harmful and regrettable that the issue is being brought up again. His client is bothered by that, says Korver.
