API warns everyone about possible difficulties with buying vignettes.
On October 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., activities will be carried out to update the electronic toll collection system, with possible difficulties in purchasing e-vignettes and route cards through the self-billing terminals, as well as at the counters of the Road Infrastructure Agency (API), the agency reports.
The counters are at the main border checkpoints, as well as in the 27 regional road administrations.
Through the other sales channels, such as the website www.bgtoll.bg, the BGTOLL mobile application, as well as from API’s partner network, buying will be possible without interruption.
The update of the electronic system will not affect the automatic reporting by on-board devices and GPS trackers of the distance traveled by heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tons, the API adds.
To avoid the risk of difficulties with the purchase of e-vignettes, the National Toll Administration recommends that drivers who have a journey ahead of them, buy the electronic vignette or route map they need in a timely manner.
