Respawn Entertainment has released a new video Apex Legend Stories from the Outlands introducing the next Legend Ash.
It’s no surprise that she’s the next playable character, as the latest Twitter comic for Apex Legends presented Ash with prominence. In the plot, Horizon thought Ash was her friend Lilian Peck and inserted codes to awaken Ash’s old memories and consciousness.
Horizon then discovers that Ash it’s actually Dr. Reid, his former assistant who betrayed Horizon and the Pathfinder group. In The Truth, Dr. Reid is shown to have been severely wounded by Amelie Paquette, who inflicted the mortal wound that triggered the operation to turn Dr. Reid into a simulacrum.
The character trailer also suggests that Ash has a split personality – with Dr. Reid, the human personality, fighting Ash, the simulacrum. The reason behind the personality fight is unclear, but next season will likely dig into the complicated psyche of the murderous simulacrum.
We know that the operation to become a simulacrum is “unimaginably” traumatic, as stated by an off-screen voice during the video, so that may be one of the reasons why there are two conflicting consciences in Ash.

The 11th season of Apex Legends will probably start in November. Most seasons last about 13 weeks, and season 10 was released on August 3rd. the new weapon CAR SMG will also arrive in Season 11.
In other Apex Legends news, there is a live Halloween event in the game until November 2nd. called from Monsters Within, the event brings back the limited-time Shadow Royale mode and adds a new Arena map called Encore.
