Apex Legends is out March 9 for Nintendo Switch – Gaming – News

Battle royal game Apex Legends will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 9. The port is therefore a lot later than expected. The Switch version of Apex Legends should have been released last year.

Publisher EA gives the date on its website. It was already known that the free-to-play game would be released for the Switch in 2021, but an exact date was not yet known. The release date is a lot later than EA initially planned. In the summer of last year, the company said the game would be released in the fall, but that was later delayedbecause the team needed more time for the postage.

The port for the Switch was made in collaboration with Panic Button, a developer who has worked a lot on other ports. The game comes with cross-platform support and, according to the developers, contains all the features of the full game. Players get thirty for free tiers of the Season 8 Battle Pass; it will be released on February 2. The developer also says that two weeks after release, players will get double XP when playing on the Switch.
