The resident heard a violent commotion, and was shocked when she looked out of the window.

On Sunday evening, the residents of Haugerudveien in Oslo got an unpleasant surprise.
Parts of the outer cladding on the block of flats literally fell off, and crashed out in front of the entrance.
A resident tells VG that she heard a commotion and that the floor shook.
– I thought: What is this?
– When I look out of the window, there are large quantities of stones outside the front door. An entire floor of stone between the third and fourth floor has fallen out, she says.
She says that the board of the housing association notified the police and ISS, which provides janitorial services, who were both on the scene shortly afterwards.
– What has happened is disgusting. If someone had gone out of the entrance, a serious accident could have occurred.
Operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand in the Oslo police district tells VG that the police have been on the scene.
– There have been many bricks that have fallen from the facade, but no injuries, he says.
The operations manager states that the chairman and contractor have taken over the matter and are following up.
According to the resident VG has spoken to, they should have been told to use an alternative entrance until the stone masses have been cleaned up.
