This short video posted by a foreign influencer makes you realize the sensational popularity of ‘APT.’
New songs released by Blackpink members around the same time are receiving positive responses both at home and abroad.
On the 27th, Rosé’s ‘APT.’ music video reached 160 million views on YouTube. This video quickly reached 100 million views in just 6 days after being released on the 17th. It also dominated domestic music charts. It reached #1 on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe’s real-time, daily, and TOP 100 charts. It is ranked first on Spotify in the U.S. and first on Chinese music site QQ Music.
This song, which was inspired by the Korean drinking game ‘Apartment Game’, has an addictive refrain that repeats “apartment” over and over again. On various social media, challenge videos of people dancing and building apartments with their hands, as well as videos of people in overseas clubs shouting “apartment” in unison, continue to be posted. This song is included in Rosé’s first full-length album, which will be released in December. Rosé participated in writing lyrics and composing all the songs in this album.

Jenny’s single ‘Mantra’, which was released 6 days before ‘APT.’, is also performing well. This song, which contains the message ‘Let’s love ourselves as we are’, became a hot topic because it was directed by Tanu Muino, a famous video director who worked on music videos for Harry Styles, Cardi B, etc. Jennie was listed on Billboard’s main single chart ‘Hot 100’ with this song.

Jisoo is about to release a zombie film in which she will appear with actor Park Jung-min.
