【Youth Daily】 Girl group AOA Yuna leaves the team when the contract ends.
The agency FNC Entertainment announced on the 1st, “The exclusive contract with the artist Yuna has ended. I will withdraw from the group AOA.”
FNC added, “I would like to express my gratitude to Yuna, who has been actively working as a singer and actor under our company for the past 8 years,” and added, “Please warm support and encouragement for his new start.”
Yuna, who was an FNC trainee, was selected as an AOA member through an in-house audition and made her debut with’Angels Story’ in 2012.
AOA has been triumphantly with several hit songs such as’Short Skirt’,’Short Hair’,’Heart Kung Hae’ and’Let’s Just’.
In 2019, she appeared on Mnet’s girl group contest program’Queendom’ and released her 6th mini album’New Moon’, showing good health.
However, last year, former member Min-ah claimed to have been harassed by leader Jimin at the time of her activities, and the image was severely damaged. Because of this, Jimin left the group, and AOA shrank into four members: Seolhyun, Chanmi, Hyejeong, and Yuna.
With Yuna joining the team this time, the activities of the AOA group will be virtually difficult.
